I select these colorful sandstone pebbles from the beaches of Lake Michigan which I find to be a relaxing and therapeutic way to spend a morning as with the the resulting photos I take of them! The way to identify them is by their gritty texture and the sparkling grains of quartz you can see in the sunlight.
