Description
The month of March is the time to venture down to Pier Cove Creek and witness the rushing clear water stream that uncovers the various beach pebbles and rocks that get buried under the sand most of the year. Unique brown stones along with basalt, fossil stones, limestone and granite occupy the creek bed as well as the Lake Michigan shoreline which the creek flows into fifty yards from this site in Southwest Michigan.
Learn more about beach stones that continually wash up on our shores in an article I've written and photographed https://owlcation.com/stem/I-Found-A-Pretty-Rock-On-The-Beach-And-Wondered-II
