The colorful sunset clouds streaked across the sky at Oval Beach on Lake Michigan during the afterglow hour on this lovely November evening. The lake was calm and glowed a velvety blue. I was taken aback by how the warm sunset afterglow swallowed up the sky. I used a digital technique to create a silky abstract from the original photograph.
