In early spring the snow melt creates a steady flow in the little creek at Pier Cove Beach that empties into Lake Michigan in Southwestern Michigan. The crystal clear water creates sparkling reflections over the pebbles and stones unique to the region, particularly the brown stones. The pristine water brings out the color, texture and patterns in the stones.
