2019 marks Serenity's first year sailing the Great Lakes from her new home port in Saugatuck/Douglas, Michigan. Here she's docked at a Kalamazoo Lake marina with a view of Mount Baldhead peaking between her masts during a sunny summer day!
Schooner Serenity is a two-masted, gaff-rigged schooner designed by Tom Colvin and built by Custom Steel Boats in Arapaho, NC. She features two cozy cabins and a charming teak-accented deck. She was originally built as a cargo schooner but was eventually converted to a passenger vessel to begin her new adventure as a chartered schooner in historic Yorktown on Virginiaโs Eastern Shore.
