No larger than a half dollar, the Florida Spiny Jewel Box Seashells are rarely found in all their glory with both valves attached to one another, but are commonly found along the US Atlantic Coast and Gulf of Mexico. I began with a photograph and applied textures and other digital processes to create a seashell work of art.

Nature is in us all shinning our inner lights a little brighter!
