Description
Tone on tone soothing beach stones are healing to the touch as well as to the eyes. I have an irresistible attraction to these stones that lie in abundance on our Lake Michigan shorelines and can't help but pick them up! Mostly basalt and limestone, I have written an online photo essay about their formation along with many other beach stone finds entitled, "I Found a Rock on the Beach and Wondered"! Basalt, in particular, is very old stone you hold in your hand, over a billion year old slice of earth!
