Description
Every year in March this little creek flows with the rush of spring snow melt at Pier Cove Creek in Southwest Michigan. But I've never seen the rocks get pushed together across the stream in such a way as to create a little dam. The scene inspired the photographer in me as I watched the water retreat into Lake Michigan and cascade over the colorful stones lighting them up with sparkling reflections and white bubbles.
