Shifting wind, sand, water and snow push these gray and brown, Lake Michigan beach stones into large gathering piles. The brown stone in the center is a rare Septarium found only in a small pocket of SW Michigan and curiously, India.

Kathi the unique stone in the middle reminds one of prehistoric petroglyphs. To see a beautiful septarium is a rare pleasure indeed. You are to be commended (with gold of course) superb work K......L/V

i have a thing for rocks. i bring home rocks from just about everywhere i go. i started me a rock garden for my ongoing collection. ...this rock photo is very cool :)
