Claim to fame as Michigan's art coast, the city of Saugatuck is hopping in the summertime with tourists and second home owners alike, more than tripling the population. They come to escape the usual commercialism, reconnect with this artsy community and especially to enjoy the Lake Michigan beaches!
Taken during the autumn season without the usual crowds, this photograph has applied textures making the touristy sidewalk scene come to life with an artsy feel containing vibrant colors and playful shadows from the surrounding trees and bare branches!
