Bordering Lake Michigan's Oval Beach in SW Michigan (USA) lies the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area with its unique interdunal habitat! It lies in a valley filled with green beach grasses sparsely dotted by evergreens surrounded by varying elevated sand dunes. Luckily, this beautiful landscape has recently been acquired by the City of Saugatuck and is saved from development just in the nick of time! An added texture softens the landscape creating a romantic feeling!
